Internal and external envelopes are essential components in the autoclave tyre retreading process. Their function is to apply uniform pressure during curing, ensure proper adhesion of the pre-cured tread, and accurately reproduce the tread pattern design.
At NOVARUB, we manufacture internal (Innerlopes) and external envelopes in different sizes and geometries, formulated to work together. The external envelopes ensure pressure and proper penetration over the pre-cured tread, while the internal ones follow the tyre casing and provide heat from the inside. This combination delivers even curing, improves adhesion, and reduces distortions during the process.
